Mike Bormann went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBIs to lead the Moorhead Blues to a 16-5 victory over West Fargo in the Fargo-West Fargo Invitational American Legion baseball tournament Friday.
West Fargo defeated New London-Spicer, Minn., 7-3 earlier in the day and Moorhead beat Alexandria, Minn., 10-8.
Justin Pieterick went 2-for-3 with two home-runs and five RBIs for Moorhead in the Alexandria game.
Moorhead advances to the championship against Fargo Post 2 at noon today.
