Boys hockey: Grand Forks Central dominates offensively in win

Central improves to 14-2 overall with 6-1 victory over Fargo North on Tuesday

GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Central dominated offensively in its 7-1 win over Fargo North in East Region boys hockey Tuesday night.

Within the first minute, Connor Litzinger found the back of the net for the Knights. Braden Panzer added a second goal to take a 2-0 lead after the first period. A trio of goals from Joseph Kennelly, Chase Spicer and Dominic Gerszewski put GFC up 6-1 heading into the third. Spicer added a second goal, while Brenan White rounded out the Knights scoring attack.

Logan Olson was the lone Spartan to score. GFC outshot North 41-14.

GFC rose to 14-2 overall and 12-1 in the East. North fell to 6-9 overall and 5-8 in the East.
