PLYMOUTH, Minn. - Lucas Whelan scored in the second period to give Wayzata a 1-0 shutout victory over Moorhead in Minnesota boys Hockey on Saturday.
Matt Straate and Seth Barnes picked up assists on the goal for Wayzata while Ty Simcoe made 22 saves to get the shutout.
Logan Marks recorded 22 saves in net for Moorhead.

Orson's four points propel Fargo South
Peter Orson led Fargo South boys hockey to a 6-2 victory over West Fargo at the Urban Plains Center on Saturday by scoring a goal and dishing out three assists.
Cooper Stellrecht added a goal and two assists for South (10-1-1) and Scott Buchholz made 19 saves.
Conor Jonasson and Kyle Shoman tallied goals for West Fargo (3-6-1).

Spartans score win against Devils Lake
DEVILS LAKE, N.D. - Fargo North boys hockey defeated Devils Lake 4-2 on Saturday.
The Spartans were led by Nick Brenneman, who had one goal and two assists. Josh Nistler also scored twice.
The Firebirds' Beau Erikkson added two assists.
