Boys soccer: Packers outshoot Central 19-2, play to tie

GRAND FORKS - Jade Johnson scored on a penalty kick to even the score late in the second half as West Fargo and Grand Forks Central played to a 1-1 tie in Eastern Dakota Conference boys soccer on Saturday.

West Fargo outshot Central 19-2 in the game.

Jake Purpur made 18 saves for the Knights while Brett Lofthus scored on a penalty kick in the first half.
