FARGO-Browerville defeated Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 35-12 during the Minnesota Class 1A, Section 6 football championship game on Friday at the Fargodome.
The Tigers improve to 10-0 and advance to the Class 1A state playoffs, which begin Oct. 31.
Browerville plays 1A, Section 5 winner Minneota at 1 p.m. on Oct. 31 at Alexandria High School.
The Tigers led 15-6 at halftime getting a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs by sophomore running back Jordan Gorder in the first half.
Walker-H-A opened the second half with a turnover and the Tigers cashed in. Gorder capped off the Tigers' ensuing drive with a 6-yard touchdown run.

Junior quarterback Bryce Irsfeld and senior tight end Logan Knutson also scored touchdowns for Browerville in the second half.
Walker-H-A's Logan Gross scored a touchdown on a 15-yard run with four minutes, 46 seconds left in the first half, but the Tigers scored 35 straight points to grab control.
The Wolves finish the year 7-3.
