FARGO – Senior forward Macie Romsdal scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead Central Cass to a 60-48 victory against Richland in a North Dakota Class B, District 2 girls basketball region-qualifying game at the Fargo Civic Center.
Fargo Oak Grove also advanced to the region tournament, earning a 52-39 victory against Enderlin in another region-qualifier. Sophomore guard Amber Muir paced the Grovers with 20 points, including 6-for-8 shooting from 3-point range.
The Squirrels earned the No. 3 seed from the district for the Region 1 tournament, which starts next Monday at the Fargo Civic Center. Oak Grove will be the No. 4 seed from District 2.
