Charles’ double-double leads Liberty past Lynx

MINNEAPOLIS – New York defeated Minnesota 75-71 on Sunday in a battle between the WNBA’s top two teams.
Tina Charles scored 18 points and had 14 rebounds for the Liberty (22-9), who clinched the East’s top playoff seed with the win.
Maya Moore led the Lynx (21-11) with 23 points.
