Cobbers men's hockey falls to Wisconsin-Superior in overtime

Concordia and the Yellowjackets played a scoreless third period tied 3-3 but Superior won it with five seconds remaining in OT.

MOORHEAD — Wisconsin-Superior's Zach Bannister scored with five seconds left in overtime to propel the Yellowjackets to a 4-3 win over Concordia on Saturday.
Concordia's Mason Plante scored two goals, the second at 16:27 of the second that tied the game 3-3.
Tyler Bossert scored the Cobbers' other goal in the first period. Bossert and Cole O'Connell both had two assists and Plante also had an assist.
The Cobbers are 3-2-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and 5-5-2 overall. They play host to Northland at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9.
