Concordia pounded out 16 hits and defeated Gustavus Adolphus 11-4 in the first game of their Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader Tuesday. First baseman Lucas Genereux provided the drama in the nightcap hitting a walk off home run in a 3-2 victory, the first homer of his career for the senior.
The Cobbers improved to 19-12 overall and 10-4, tied for first in the league. Nathan Haase and Jordan Doschadis each had three hits in the opener. Adam Johnson belted his fourth home of the year and drove in three runs.
Genereux's shot made a winner of Andrew Skow-Anderson, who three a complete-game four-hitter.
