College baseball: Gophers avenge Tuesday loss to Bison

MINNEAPOLIS - Michael Kvasnicka went 3-for-4 and AJ Pettersen drove in two runs to pace Minnesota over North Dakota State 4-2 in college baseball on Wednesday at the Metrodome.

MINNEAPOLIS - Michael Kvasnicka went 3-for-4 and AJ Pettersen drove in two runs to pace Minnesota over North Dakota State 4-2 in college baseball on Wednesday at the Metrodome.

First baseman Zach Wentz went 2-for-3 with a run batted in to pace NDSU (7-10). Designated hitter Eric Nutzhorn also drove in a run for the Bison.

The Bison defeated the Gophers 7-3 on Tuesday.
