FARGO – Fans are invited to go to downtown Fargo on Wednesday evening as the ESPN “College GameDay” bus and equipment motorcade arrive, according to a news release by North Dakota State.
The famed orange bus will travel south on Broadway at about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Fans are encouraged to wear yellow and green and gather on the corner of Third Avenue and Broadway near the Fargo Theater to greet the bus and motorcade.
“College GameDay” is broadcasting in downtown Fargo from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday ahead of NDSU’s afternoon football game against Incarnate Word.

The Fargo Police Department announced its traffic plan for the upcoming ESPN College GameDay broadcast.
Here are the plan details:
Wednesday
In preparation for road closures, no parking signs will be posted on the following streets starting Wednesday evening:
Broadway between 2nd Ave. N. and 4th Ave. N.
3rd Ave. N. between Broadway and 4th St. N.
5th St. N. between 3rd Ave. N. and 4th Ave. N.
Thursday

Broadway will be closed to traffic between 2nd Ave. N. and 4th Ave. N.
3rd Ave. N. will be closed to traffic between Broadway and 5th St. N.
5th St. N. will be closed to through traffic between 3rd Ave. N. and 4th Ave. N.
No parking signs will be posted that will prohibit parking for Thursday evening on 2nd Ave. N. between Broadway and 5th St. N.
Friday
2nd Ave. N. will be closed from the west side of Broadway to 5th St. N.
No parking signs will be posted that will prohibit parking on Friday evening on 4th Ave. N. between Roberts S. N. and 5th St. N. and on Broadway from 4th Ave. N. to the railroad tracks (5th Ave. N.).
Saturday

4th Ave. N. will be closed from Roberts St. N. to 5th St. N., and Broadway will be closed in the 400 Block (4th Ave. N. to the railroad tracks). These roads will remain closed until the conclusion of the Saturday event.
