SHREVEPORT, La. - North Dakota State starter Whitney Johnson struck out 19 batters in two games as the Bison swept Centenary in Summit League softball play on Friday.
Laurel Pipkin had three hits and Johnson allowed only one hit while striking out nine as NDSU won its first game 7-2.
Nicole Rivera scored the winning run on a wild pitch to help the Bison to a 4-2 win in the nightcap.
