College volleyball: Bison swept for the first time in Summit League

FORT WAYNE, Ind.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Mayara Schlindwein had 13 kills and two aces to lead Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne to a 25-21, 25-13, 25-16 win over North Dakota State in Summit league volleyball on Saturday.

It marks the first time the Bison have been swept in a Summit League match and is also IPFW's third straight win over the Bison (11-9, 8-3 Summit League).

The loss knocked North Dakota State out of first place in the Summit League for the first time since their second-place finish in 2007.

Chrissy Knuth paced the Bison with 15 kills.

Tessa McGill added Kills for IPFW (14-8, 9-2).
