College volleyball: MSU Moorhead swept twice at Augustana Tournament

The Dragons play the fourth and fifth matches in the tournament on Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — MSU Moorhead was swept in a pair of matches on Friday at the Augustana Tournament at the Sanford Pentagon.

In an evening match, the Dragons fell to St. Cloud State 25-12, 25-14, 25-16.

Bridget Witzman had nine kills and Jadyn Feist had five. Setter Emily Skalicky had 18 assists.

Earlier in the day, the Dragons lost to Northern State 25-12, 25-10, 25-9.

MSUM's Elise Bakke and Witzman both had four kills and Skalicky had 10 assists.


The Dragons are 2-3 overall and play two more matches in the Augustana Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 3, facing Truman State (9 a.m.) and South Dakota Mines (3:45 p.m.).
