The Concordia wrestling team enters the 2010-11 season ranked sixth in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Preseason national poll.
It is the highest the Cobbers have ever been ranked in a national poll.
Concordia finished ninth as a team last season at the NCAA Division III meet.
The Cobbers also have six different wrestlers ranked in the top 10 of their individual weight classes.
Returning national champion Phil Moenkedick is ranked first in the 184-pound weight class. Ross Dankers (174) opens ranked fifth, Justin Berns (149) opens ranked seventh, Daron Hohbein (125) opens ranked 10th and Ben Anderson (147) and Nathan Schmitz (197) each open the year ranked ninth.
