North Dakota State added another player to its recruiting class, receiving a commitment from Carter Borchardt from Stevens Point (Wis.) Area Senior High.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Borchardt is a linebacker/safety prospect and is a first-team, all-conference player for the Panthers.
Borchardt becomes the third commitment or signing during the late signing period. The Bison signed two more players in February, adding to the 24 that were signed during the early period in December. These commitments don't count transfer commitments from other colleges.
