MOORHEAD — Concordia had its game going in all phases Saturday, piling up 36 runs, allowing just four hits and committing no errors in a pair of shutout wins over North Central.
The Cobbers won 21-0 in the second game after a 15-0 victory in the opener.
Cobbers' starter Megan Gavin fired a no-hitter in the opener, working all five innings, walking two and striking out 15. Valerie Kolstad was 2-for-4 with a home run and four runs batted in. Riley Bergstrom and Kenzie Leither both had two hits and scored three runs, and Leither, who doubled, and Molly Wilde both drove in two runs.
In the second game, starter Amber Taylor improved to 6-0 with three innings of three-hit ball. Relievers Cassie Bohnsack and Tori Herrboldt both worked a scoreless inning.
Caitlin Culleton was 3-for-3 with a double and five RBI, and Kolstad hit her second homer of the day and drove in two runs. Amy Quast also had a double among her two hits and drove in a run and Landry Maragos drove in two runs and scored three times.
