College volleyball: Cobbers take down Mayville State in 4 sets

Three Cobbers finished with double-digit kills.

MOORHEAD — Concordia defeated Mayville State 25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 25-23 on Tuesday in nonconference college volleyball at Memorial Auditorium.

Three Cobbers finished with double-digit kills, led by Hannah Keil's 17. Anna Brakke followed with 14 kills and Brook Carney had 13. Kaia Lill dished out 50 assists. Chloe Markovic paced Concordia with 22 digs, while Brakke added 17 to complete the double-double. Lill served a team-high three aces.

Ashley Pyburn led Mayville State with 15 kills, while Elora Passa finished with 13. Natalie Hadrava had 24 digs and Passa dished out 23 assists.

The Cobbers (3-11) are scheduled to next play at St. Catherine at 7 p.m. Friday.
