MOORHEAD — Minnesota State Moorhead didn't let a third-set hiccup derail its roll to a four-set victory over Minnesota Crookston in the Dragons' Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opener on Friday.
Bridget Witzman had 16 kills and Jadyn Feist had 15 kills in a 25-23, 25-16, 23-25, 25-20 win over the Golden Eagles at at Nemzek Fieldhouse.
The Dragons' Teeya Doppler had 10 kills and two blocks. Setter Emily Skalicky had 39 assists, Macie Wieman had 19 digs and Witzman and Brooke Walthall both had 18 digs.
The Dragons are 1-0 in the NSIC and 4-5 overall. They play host to Bemidji State at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
