College volleyball: Wartburg sweeps Cobbers

The Cobbers topped 20 points in just one set as the host school prevailed in a Wartburg Invite match on Friday.

WAVERLY, Iowa — Concordia had trouble generating offense and were swept by Wartburg 25-16, 25-18, 25-22 on Friday on the first day of the Wartburg Invite.

Allison Feigenbaum led the Knights with 12 kills and Abby Hamann and Emerson Kracht both had nine.

Concordia's Anna Brakke had nine kills, Brook Carney had seven and Madison Kisch had five. Kaia Lill had 25 set assists.

The Cobbers to 2-9 overall and close out play in the Wartburg Invite with matches Saturday, Sept. 24, against Wisconsin-Stout (10 a.m.) and Coe (noon).
