College volleyball: Wolves sweep Dragons

Northern State shut down MSU Moorhead's offense and came away with a three-set win on Tuesday in Aberdeen, S.D.

ABERDEEN, S.D. — Northern State dominated from the first serve and defeated Minnesota State Moorhead 25-14, 25-15, 25-8 on Tuesday at Wachs Arena.

The Dragons' Tori Thompson had seven kills and Bridget Witzmann had five.

Setter Emily Skalicky finished with 15 assists and Witzmann led the Dragons with 11 digs.

The Dragons dropped to 2-7 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and 5-12 overall. They play host to Augustana at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7.
