Dragons women's soccer team falls to Minot State on late goal

Minnsota State Moorhead and Minot State played 81 scoreless minutes until the Beavers' Daisy de Boer connected for the game's only goal.

MINOT, N.D. — A goal in the 82nd minute was the difference as the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team fell to Minot State 1-0 on Sunday in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game.

The game was tied at 0-0 for more than 81 minutes until Daisy de Boer scored on a penalty kick to give Minot State the lead.

Senior goalkeeper Kayleigh Sedlacek stopped 14 shots and senior forward Anna Steadland had a shot on goal.
