MOORHEAD — Minnesota State Moorhead quarterback Jack Strand completed 23 of 41 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Dragons to a 21-20 victory against Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football at Alex Nemzek Stadium.
The Dragons (4-6, 4-6 NSIC) built a 14-point lead before holding of a late rally.
In other action, the Concordia Cobbers rolled to a 59-0 victory against Hamline in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on senior day at Jake Christiansen Stadium.
Cobbers running back Peyton Mortenson rushed for 119 yards and four touchdowns on 23 attempts. Concordia quarterback Cooper Mattern completed 16 of 23 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns. Receiver Owen Miller had seven catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns.
