SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — No. 6-ranked North Dakota State scored 25 points in the first half and rolled to 25-0 victory against Missouri State on Saturday in Missouri Valley Football Conference play at Plaster Stadium.
The Bison (3-1, 1-1 MVFC) rebounded from a 24-point road loss at Southern Illinois a week before that ended NDSU's 39-game winning streak, a Division I FCS record.
NDSU rushed for 272 yards against the Bears, including a Jalen Bussey 53-yard touchdown run in the second quarter that gave the Bison a 15-0 lead with 6 minutes, 24 seconds to play in the first half. NDSU quarterback Zeb Noland added an 81-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Braylon Henderson that gave the Bison a 25-0 lead with eight seconds to play before halftime.
Bison defensive end Spencer Waege had a big game with three sacks and a forced fumble.
