Women's golf: Cobbers place 13th at Fall Invite

St. Catherine wins tournament it hosted by 19 shots over Bethel on Sunday.

WOODBURY, Minn. — Concordia finished with a two-round total of 697 to place 13th at the St. Kate's Fall Invite on Sunday at Eagle Valley Golf Course.

St. Catherine, the host school, won with a 606. Bethel and Carleton tied for second at 625.

Abbey Frauenholtz led the Cobbers with a two-day total of 167, good for a tie for 38th. Teammate Joslynn Leach tied for 41st at 167. Carleton's Carter Sichol shot 1-over 145 to win by two shots over St. Catherine's Sydney Brandt.

The Cobbers compete in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Sept. 1-3 at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Minneapolis.
