Women's golf: Dragons close Easter Lily invite in fifth place

MSU Moorhead ends its spring season at the NSIC Championships on April 22-24 in Smithville, Mo.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Minnesota State Moorhead shaved 23 shots off its first-day total and finished fifth at Augustana's Easter Lilly Invitational on Saturday at the Willow Run Golf Course.

The Dragons shot a final-round 358, 23 shots better than their opening round, to finish at 739 and in fifth place. Augustana won with 618.

Erin Summerbell led the Dragons on Saturday, shooting an 85 and finished at 184. Meghan McBride was MSUM's top 36-hole scorer at 180. Madison Braun shot 183, Ellie Fischer finished at 194 and Callie Krause shot 199.

The Dragons end their spring season in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships April 22-24 in Smithville, Mo.
