ST. PAUL — Former Fargo Shanley golfer and Bethel sophomore Greta McArthur will compete in the NCAA Division III Championships on May 9-12 in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.

McArthur, a 2021 Shanley graduate, was one of six golfers to earn an at-large bid into the championships, which are at the Mission Inn Resort and Club.

McArthur is the third golfer in Royals' history to compete as an individual, but she played in the 2022 championships for St. Catherine prior to transferring to Bethel.

McArthur had a 75.4 scoring average in 18 rounds this season. She placed in the top three in five meets and in the top 10 in nine meets. McArthur placed third in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships this spring.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
