RIVER FALLS, Wis. — Wisconsin-River Falls notched a narrow 4-3 victory over Concordia on Friday in nonconference women's hockey at Hunt Arena.

Abigail Stow and Reilly Springman scored in the first period to give WRF a 2-0 lead. Concordia's McKenzie Oelkers sliced it to 2-1 on an assist from Brooke McMillan late in the opening frame.

River Falls and Concordia traded goals in the second frame. Maddie McCollins pushed it to 3-1 44 seconds into the period, but the Cobbers had an answer. Jerica Friese buried a power-play goal 5:59 into the period, assisted by Jordie Egerdahl and Abbey Hardwick.
