Women's soccer: Bemidji State downs Dragons

The Beavers scored five unassisted goals in a 6-0 win over Minnesota State Moorhead on Monday.

MOORHEAD — Sara Wendt scored the first and last goals of the game as Bemidji State defeated Minnesota State Moorhead 6-0 on Monday at the Nemzek Soccer Field.

Five of the Beavers' six goals were scored unassisted. Alanna Mattson, Maggie Cade, Anna Breffle and Allyson Smith had BSU's other goals, and Halle Peterson had the game's lone assist.

The Dragons play the Beavers again at 6 p.m. Friday, April 16, in Bemidji.
