Women's soccer: Cobbers edged by Macalester

MOORHEAD — Macalester tallied a 1-0 victory over Concordia on Wednesday in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Complex women's soccer at Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex.

Ella Thomsen scored for Macalester (4-0-2, 1-0 MIAC) in the 44th minute.

Chloe Sollum and Sophia Robinson each had a shot on goal for the Cobbers. Concordia goalie Kaitlin Petrich made three saves.

The Cobbers (3-2, 0-1 MIAC) are scheduled to next play at St. Scholastica at 1 p.m. Saturday.
