Women's soccer: Dragons end weekend unbeaten

MSU Moorhead battled Sioux Falls to a tie Sunday in an NSIC game in Moorhead.

MOORHEAD — Minnesota State Moorhead capped off an unbeaten week with a 0-0 tie with Sioux Falls on Sunday in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game.

MSUM which finished the week 1-0-1 and is now 2-7-2 overall and 2-6-2 in the NSIC. Sioux Falls is 0-9-4 overall and 0-6-4.

Freshman forward Jensen Seidel had four shots, including two on goal, for MSUM. Madeline Etter had one shot on goal. Junior goalkeeper Simone Lewald had six saves.

MSUM plays next at Winona State on Friday, Oct. 15.
