Women's soccer: Mary shuts out Dragons

MOORHEAD — The University of Mary tallied a 1-0 victory over Minnesota State Moorhead on Friday in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Women's soccer at Nemzek Soccer Field.

Madeline Etter and Grace Heying each had two shots on goal to lead the Dragons. MSUM goalie Quinn Carter tallied eight saves.

Rio Spruenken scored for the Marauders (7-0-3, 4-0-3 NSIC) in the 30th minute.

The Dragons (1-6-1, 1-5-1 NSIC) are scheduled to host Minot State at noon Sunday.
