Women's swimming: Cobbers in 8th after Day 2 of MIAC Championships

Hailey Jaeger placed 12th in the 50-yard freestyle finals to lead Concordia

MINNEAPOLIS — The Concordia women's swimming and diving team sits in eighth place after Thursday's competition at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships at the University of Minnesota's Jean Freeman Aquatic Center.

Hailey Jaeger placed 12th in the 50-yard freestyle finals with a time of 24.74 seconds to lead the Cobbers on Day 2. Concordia's 400 medley relay team of Camille Gunderson, Emily Oswald, Audrey Zeleny and Brienna Tim claimed ninth in the finals with a time of 4:42.08.

Concordia has 70 points, one point behind seventh-place Hamline. St. Catherine holds the lead with 274 points.

Friday's competition is set to begin at 10:30 a.m.
