Women's swimming: Hailey Jaeger leads Cobbers at Dragon Invite

Jaeger notched a top-five finish in the 100 butterfly

WEST FARGO — Hailey Jaeger headlined the Concordia women's swimming and diving team's performance on Friday during Day 1 of the Dragon Invite at Hulbert Aquatic Center.

Jaeger placed fifth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1 minute, 4.59 seconds to lead the way for Concordia.

The Cobbers' 200 freestyle relay team of Kaitlin Cramer, Jessica Bray, Jaeger and Audrey Zeleny finished sixth in 1:49.20. Concordia's 200 free relay squad of Cramer, Jaeger, Bray and Brienna Timm placed ninth with a time of 2:03.82.

Day 2's action is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
