Women's tennis: Bemidji State edges Minnesota State Moorhead in season finale

Tia Dykema, Madison Bell and Greta Reichmann won singles matches for the Dragons on Sunday.

FARGO — Minnesota State Moorhead ended its season with a 4-3 loss to Bemidji State on Sunday at Courts Plus.

The Dragons wrapped their season 1-10 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and 5-12 overall. It was the final match for seniors Miranda Griechen, Mikaela Griechen and Emma Andersen.

MSUM's Tia Dykema defeated Laney Rutkowski 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 at No. 4 singles, and Madison Bell won 6-3, 6-4 over Isabela Nelson at No. 5 singles. The Dragons' Greta Reichmann defeated Lily Jones 7-6, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.

Reichmann and Dykema teamed to win one of the three doubles matches, downing Nelson and Lexi Leitner 6-3 at No. 3 doubles.
