Concordia makes NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament

Concordia has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament. The announcement was made today on the NCAA Web site.

The Cobbers (19-8) will play Concordia University (Wis.) on Friday at 5 p.m. in the first round. That game will be played at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Concordia University (22-5) was regular season and tournament champions in the Northern Athletic Conference.

Sixty-three teams made the tournament field, including 20 at-large bids.

Ticket prices are $6 for adults, $3 for Concordia students and $4 for children 12 and under. For tickets call (715) 346-4100.

If Concordia wins, it would play at 7 p.m. Saturday in the next round.
