MOORHEAD — Concordia defeated St. John's 2-1 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athlectic Conference men's hockey Friday night.
Aaron Herdt and Mario Bianchi scored for the Cobbers and goalie Jacob Stephan had 22 saves.
Davis Kirkendall scored St. John's lone goal. Goalie Andrew Lindgren had 26 saves.
Concordia improved to 12-5-2 overall and 8-1-1 in the MIAC, while St. John's dropped to 7-9-3 overall and 5-4-1 in the MIAC.
