Crookston defeats Fargo North in boys hockey

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. — Crookston defeated Fargo North 2-1 in overtime in boys hockey Friday night at the Thief River Falls Tournament.

Eric Delorme scored on a power play in the third period and again in overtime in Crookston's win. Goalie Jake Ricord had 21 saves for the Pirates.

Fargo North's Caleb Fritel scored in the first period. Goalie Luke Olson had 36 saves for the Spartans.

Crookston improved to 2-7-1, while North fell to 2-8 overall.
