PARK RAPIDS, Minn. — East Grand Forks downed Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 16-5 before the Rebels bounced back for a 16-4 win over Park Rapids on Thursday in the Minnesota Class 2A, Section 8 baseball tournament.
Against East Grand Forks, Jimmy Phillips went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run for D-G-F. Noah Kraft went 2-for-3 with a double and Nathan Leitner hit a home run.
Carter Kohler went 4-for-4 with two home runs and seven RBIs to lead the Rebels against Park Rapids. Leitner and Jacob Strand each added two hits.
D-G-F (15-8) will next play Pequot Lakes at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Perham. Park Rapids finished its season with a 6-11 overall record.
