GLYNDON, Minn. — No. 1 seed Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton posted a 10-0 shutout victory over No. 8 seed Ottertail Central on Tuesday in the opening round of the Minnesota Class 2A, Section 8 softball tournament.
As a team, D-G-F accumulated 15 hits. Katlyn Brenna went 3-for-4 with five RBIs to lead the Rebels. Mallory Leitner and Jena Bjelland combined for a two-hit shutout.
The Rebels (18-3) are slated to face No. 4 seed Perham at 4 p.m. Thursday at Frazee.
