DICKINSON, N.D. - Presidents of schools in the NAIA's Dakota Athletic Conference will vote June 23 on a policy change that would make Minot State ineligible for league titles and awards.
Minot State has applied to become an NCAA Division II school and expects an answer July 10.
Athletic directors in the DAC are recommending to the presidents that any school that is considered for membership in an association or league outside of the DAC and the NAIA forfeit its eligibility for league titles and awards.
If Minot State is accepted into Division II, the school's membership in the DAC would end on July 1, 2010.
