Denver men's hockey defeats North Dakota in overtime

GRAND FORKS, N.D. — The Denver men's hockey team beat North Dakota 2-1 with only 20.2 seconds left in overtime.

Jacob Bernard-Docker scored at the 17:25 mark, tying the score late in the third period to lead the Fighting Hawks. Adam Scheel stopped 19 of 21 shots from entering North Dakota's net.

North Dakota fell to a 9-7-1 overall record and will next face U.S. Under-18 Team on Saturday, Dec. 29.
