Concordia senior defensive back Levi DeVries has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American first team it was announced Wednesday.
DeVries is the first player in program history to earn academic All-American first team honors.
DeVries is a physics and mathematics double major who carries a 3.97 grade point average. A four-year starter, DeVries played in 42 games for the Cobbers.
