FARGO — Cameron Dockter has been named as the head coach for the Fargo South High School boys track and field team.
Dockter replaces Larry Seljevold who retired from teaching and coaching in Fargo Public Schools. Seljevold was the head coach at Fargo South for the past two years and was an assistant track and field coach for the boys team, assistant coach for cross country and served as both an assistant and head coach for the girls track and field program for the last 20 years.
Dockter was as an assistant boys’ track and field coach at South from 2001 to 2010 and in 2019. He was named the head boys track and field coach in 2011, a position he held until 2017.
Under Dockter, South won the East Region meet in 2015 when he was named East Region and North Dakota track and field coach of the year.
