DULUTH, Minn.-Justin Wieck, an assistant coach for the Minnesota State Moorhead men's basketball team, is one of four finalists for the head men's basketball job at Minnesota-Duluth.

The other finalists are: current UMD assistant coach Matt Hockett; Dan Evans, head coach at Ohio Dominican University; and Jeff Horner, an assistant coach at the University of North Dakota.

Wieck, a former University of Iowa basketball player, joined the MSUM coaching staff in 2014 and has been part of Dragons' teams that have gone 96-38-including a program-best 35-4 mark that first season and first trip to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight.

Wieck previously served two years at the University of Jamestown, guiding the Jimmies to a 32-31 record, including an NAIA national tournament appearance in 2014.
