Minnesota State Moorhead dropped six spots in this week's USA Today-ESPN Division II Top 25 women's basketball poll after losing two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference road games last weekend, its first two losses this season.

Now ranked No. 17, the Dragons (11-2) lost to Southwest Minnesota State 59-55 on Friday and also fell to Minnesota State Mankato 74-55 on Saturday. MSUM was rated No. 11 in the previous poll.

"We just have to regroup and learn," MSUM head coach Karla Nelson said. "I told the girls you don't judge a body of work by two games or 13 games. You judge a body of work by what happens at the end."
