MOORHEAD -- The Minnesota State Moorhead wrestling program added two Division I transfers, head coach Kris Nelson announced Wednesday, April 19.

Weston Dobler, a 2015 West Fargo High School graduate, transferred from Oregon State and Tommy Walton, a 2013 Fargo North High School graduate, transferred from North Dakota State.

Dobler was a two-time state champion at West Fargo and is expected to wrestle at 165 pounds for the Dragons. Walton was a two-time state champion at North and is projected to wrestle at 141 pounds at MSUM.

“They are well-rounded wrestlers, who I think can make an immediate impact at our level,” Nelson said. “I think they can add to our program. We’re happy to get those guys.”
