SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A Minnesota State Moorhead men’s basketball recruit has been arrested in connection with a burglary and vandalism at Lincoln High School, according to a Sioux Falls Police Department news release.

Addison Park, 18, is one of two teens charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree intentional damage of property. Park was also charged with petty theft for allegedly stealing backpacks.

“Right now we need more information,” MSUM athletic director Doug Peters said.

The 6-foot-8, 220-pound Park signed with the Dragons in April. He was a two-time Class 2A all-state selection for Lincoln High School and scored 1,075 points in his prep career.

“I have confidence in Addison’s character, but obviously he made a poor choice,” Dragons head coach Chad Walthall said. “We will be following the legal process as it unfolds.”
