Dragons women's basketball team drops fourth straight

Minnesota State Moorhead fell to Michigan Tech in the Dacotah Bank Classic on Friday in Aberdeen, S.D.

ABERDEEN, S.D. — Minnesota State Moorhead is still seeking its first win of the 2021-22 season after at 65-53 loss to Michigan State at the Dacotah Bank Classic on Friday.

Tech trailed by one after the first quarter but built a six-point lead by halftime and pulled away in the fourth quarter.

The Dragons' Peyton Boom and Natalie Jens both scored 15 points and Boom had a team-high six rebounds. Aliyah Miller scored nine points.
