Eight Bison football players named to All-Missouri Valley team

FARGO – Eight North Dakota State players were named to the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference team that was announced Monday.

Senior defensive lineman Kyle Emanuel, who last week was named the league’s defensive player of the year, was one of four Bison named to the defensive first team.

Joining Emanuel are senior linebacker Carlton Littlejohn, senior defensive back Christian Dudzik and senior safety Colten Heagle.

Senior lineman Jesse Hinz, junior lineman Joe Haeg and junior fullback Andrew Bonnet were named to the offensive first team.

Junior punter Ben LeCompte was also a first-team selection.

Second-team selections from NDSU included senior running back John Crockett and senior linebacker Travis Beck. Junior quarterback Carson Wentz, senior receiver Zach Vraa and senior kicker Adam Keller received honorable-mention votes.
